Wallpaper and fabric exhibit layers of unknown personal history, bringing to light a time capsule of lives forgotten. Abandoned bunkers and decaying buildings in ghost towns are a rich source to pursue and venturing out to observe the changes from year to year has taken on a documentary form for Hunter. So often, returning to find those places gone, the artist takes pride that her photographs are their artful legacy.
